Founded by Kunle Afolayan, one of Nigeria’s foremost film makers the KAP Film and Television Academy is a film production learning institution imparting prospective filmmakers with film industry knowledge through a robust curriculum as well as first-hand learning from tried and tested industry experts, ultimately inducing capacity building within the industry in Nigeria and globally. The KAP Film and Television Academy, in partnership with Mastercard Foundation through its Young Africa Works strategy, has developed the KAP Learning App, an e-Learning programme, to bridge the skills gap between the thousands of young people who want a career in film and television and the dearth of experienced personnel within the industry.
